Lofoten Ski Guiding

The best ski touring in Lofoten, with local guides
Lofoten is our home and we’re out skiing on the islands every day. We fell in love with ski touring here in 2009 and have been local skiers ever since. Let us show you the best of our backyard: we know where the powder is and which tour suits your group and the day’s conditions. We offer private guiding daily from Lofoten Ski Lodge, and tailored courses from avalanche skills to ski mountaineering. We can also host you at the lodge for the complete package. Get in touch with questions or for a tailored programme.
We’ll meet you at Lofoten Ski Lodge for a coffee and a talk about the day. We choose every tour based on your skill level, ambitions and the current weather and snow. Days vary in length and difficulty, but all fit within a normal working day (8–15).

Have questions?
Below we have listed some general FAQs about our experiences. If you have any question or queries, please feel free to get in touch here.
February to the end of April are the best time for skiing in Lofoten
We have avalanche safety gear and skis, with skins and poles, for rent.
We prefer to ski with small groups and there are a maximum of 6 skiers pr guide.
We usually drive between 10-20 minutes to the skiing. Sometimes up to 70 minutes.
We offer guiding to ski touring beginners as long as they have a good fitness level and are capable of skiing in variable snow up to 35 degrees.
