Experience the culture, ski the nunataks, discover Greenland

Greenland is far from anything you’ve experienced before, and the best way into its pristine mountains is by boat. On this expedition you’ll appreciate the comfort of a solid ship, cherry-picking the best ski objectives along the coast, along with the island’s culture, our local crew, breathtaking views and superb skiing, all with experienced IFMGA guides from Northern Alpine Guides.

Our trips start in Maniitsoq on Greenland’s west coast, with a week skiing the fjords and islands just to the north. Each day starts with a good breakfast before we sort our equipment and go looking for powder. Most peaks are glaciated and rise 750–1,800 m straight from the shore. Back on board it’s time for dinner, fishing, sailing and planning the next objective.

This trip is for people looking for a high-end ski and sail experience. It isn’t cheap, and we don’t put groups in the cramped quarters of small sailboats that weren’t designed for winter. We take groups of 6–10, focus on the details from the food to the comfort of your bed, and can provide two guides if you prefer. Our maximum ratio is six guests per guide, or ten with two guides.
